Landscape is both a subject and a method in Storm et al.’s practice. We work with ground, vegetation, water, and climate as active components in the artistic process, shaping how a place is perceived, used, and transformed over time.

Our approach to landscape is attentive to scale and change. We consider seasonal variation, microclimate, and everyday movement as essential conditions for artistic work in public space. Rather than treating landscape as a backdrop, we engage it as a living structure that informs material choices, spatial organisation, and long-term presence.

Through landscape-based thinking, our work seeks to anchor artistic gestures in the rhythms and realities of place — allowing art to grow from its surroundings and evolve alongside them.
