Architecture provides a framework for how space is structured, inhabited, and perceived. In Storm et al.’s practice, architectural thinking informs scale, proportion, and spatial relationships, allowing artistic work to engage with built form without being subordinate to it.

We work in close dialogue with architecture, responding to its rhythms, thresholds, and material logic. Our interventions often inhabit the spaces between — entrances, edges, and transitions — where artistic gestures can subtly shift how a place is experienced.

By approaching architecture as a partner rather than a container, we develop works that are integrated, precise, and attuned to both spatial intention and everyday use.
