Storm et al. works with site-specific artistic practices rooted in landscape, materiality, and spatial experience. Our work develops through close engagement with the physical and social conditions of a place — its ground, rhythms, histories, and everyday use.
We approach each project as a process rather than a predefined form. Through observation, dialogue, and testing, artistic ideas are shaped in response to context, scale, and time. Material choices, construction methods, and spatial gestures are integral to the artistic expression and are developed with long-term presence and durability in mind.
Our practice moves between art, landscape, and architecture, allowing us to work both independently and in close collaboration with other disciplines. We value open processes and shared authorship, where artistic integrity is held alongside technical, environmental, and social considerations.
Pedagogical and participatory methods are often part of our work, supporting dialogue, understanding, and engagement with public space. These approaches are not ends in themselves, but tools that help anchor artistic gestures within lived environments.
Storm et al. develops works that are attentive rather than monumental — gestures that settle into place, reveal themselves over time, and become part of the everyday life of the site.
